Proteins Purification Services for Microtubule

The proteins that make up the microtubules of tubulin are called microtubule, and it plays an essential role in maintaining cell shape, motility, and intracellular material transport. CD BioSciences saves you more research time and new discoveries with one-stop protein purification services through a wealth of protein expression systems and technical resources. Design and optimize your protocols with powerful assay kits and imaging systems to obtain high-quality experimental data.

Overview of Microtubule

Microtubule is a globulin, the basic structural unit of intracellular microtubules. It is a heterodimer formed by the polymerization of two protein molecules, ie. α- and β-tubulin molecules; each such dimer is combined with two nucleotide molecules, one is tightly bound and the other is loosely bound, and can be exchanged rapidly. As an important part of the cytoskeleton, microtubule is involved in chromosome movement, mitosis and apoptosis. Studies have shown that many diseases are associated with changes in microtubule, and whenever cellular DNA is altered and mitosis is affected, changes in microtubule can be manifested.
