The cytoskeleton controls the morphological and dynamic character rustics of eukaryotic cells and plays an important role in maintaining cellular integrity. CD BioSciences use amyloid fibril's structure imaging, labeling and detection research tools and technical resources to save you more time for research and new discoveries. Design and optimize your protocols for high-quality experimental data using powerful assay kits and imaging systems.
Amyloid fibrils are self-assembled, filamentous protein or peptide aggregates with cross-β molecular structures, meaning that they contain ribbon-like β-sheets in which the β-strands run approximately perpendicular to the long fibril axis and the inter-strand hydrogen bonds run approximately parallel the long fibril axis.

Any understanding of the properties and actions of amyloid protofibrils depends on knowledge of their molecular structure. Because amyloid protofibrils are inherently amorphous and insoluble, and are assembled from high molecular weight units, standard experimental methods for structure determination provide limited information. Due to the ineffectiveness of other methods and for various technical reasons, solid-state NMR spectroscopy has become the "method of choice" for amyloid structure determination.
CD BioSciences offers services including real-time amyloid fibril localization, 3D structural imaging, and crystal structure analysis by combining powerful automated image acquisition and analysis with the help of our versatile microscopic instruments. Our microscopy systems provide you with intelligent innovations in structural imaging that can help you achieve optimal image quality.
