Biotechnology Specialist, Dendrimer

Role Summary

CD BioSciences is dedicated to dendrimer research, and we are looking for outstanding, innovative and creative biotechnologists to join our R&D team. Biotechnologists are needed to lead research projects related to the synthesis, characterization, and application of dendrimers in various areas of biotechnology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select appropriate reagents and reaction conditions for the design and synthesis of dendrimers to achieve the desired dendrimer structure and purity.
  • Structural and physicochemical characterization of dendrimers using various analytical techniques such as NMR, MS, UV-Vis and DLS.
  • Develop methods for functionalization of dendrimer macromolecules to meet different applications of our clients in the biomedical field.
  • Perform statistical data analysis and present results.
  • Write and review technical documents, including SOPs, validation plans, presentations, and publications.
  • Support daily operation, service and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.

Basic Qualifications

  • PhD in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry or materials science or another related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a biochemistry CRO/CMO company is required.
  • Strong molecular biology laboratory skills are required, as well as the ability to complete project design and perform team management.
  • Ability to multi-task and contribute in a dynamic, fast-paced and challenging intellectual environment.
  • Ability to complete documentation including data summaries, technical, analytical and scientific reports, and transfer procedures to production.
